Reby Media, the publisher of Engineering Matters, which is the Periodical Publishers Association Best Technology Podcast and Best B2B Podcast 2021, is looking for a trainee producer to join the team as we grow. You might be an engineer who wants to communicate their passion for problem solving to a wider audience, or you might be an audio producer or journalist who wants to bring their skills to the world of engineering.

The Role

Reporting to Senior Producer you will be expected to research stories, conduct interviews, prepare scripts, create web content, participate in social media activity and generally support the Engineering Matters production team in creating its weekly episodes. Working with a range of engineering companies you will be keen to understand the work that they do and seek out the most compelling stories. You will be trained by a highly experienced team of journalists and engineers who will support your transition into creating podcasts.

Either way Reby Media is keen to hear from you if you have a genuine passion for engineering and want to work in a small, supportive and flexible organisation.

Right now the world is facing some of its greatest ever challenges from climate change to plastic pollution. The good news is that the technical solutions often exist already. We just have to use them. You can hear all about them in Engineering Matters.

The position is full time.
Salary £22,000 to £28,000 depending on experience.
